Books on the Go
Wake County Public Libraries offers no contact pickup for library materials through our Books on the Go service. In addition to our collection of books and audiobooks, Book Discussion Titles and Book Club Kits can be reserved.
How to use the Books on the Go Service?
- Place books on reserve using our online catalog. You can request up to 30 items at a time.
- Once you have received an email notification that your item(s) have arrived, your books are available for pickup during Books on the Go hours. Once your book has arrived, click the link in your email to schedule an appointment time. You may receive multiple emails about requests being available, but you only need to schedule one appointment. We will put all available requests into your bag.
- Staff will check out your requested items and place them on a table in the lobby or at the front of the library. When you arrive, look for the Books on the Go bag with your name on it. These items are already checked out to you.
