The Nurse-Family Partnership is a free support for first-time families. A new pregnant parent is paired with their own personal NFP nurse who supports the family from pregnancy until the child turns 2 years old. By meeting regularly with their nurse, NFP families become confident parents. The NFP nurse usually meets families at their home and provides information, community resources and support as new parents journey through their child’s first 2 years.
From supporting families to have a healthy pregnancy, to coaching parents on healthy child development, to empowering families to pursue their dreams, NFP nurses are here to support Wake families!
