Several economic assistance programs have been created to assist residents within the human services, including Food and Nutrition Services, Medicaid, Work First, Child Care Subsidy and Energy Assistance. Human Services programs must be administered correctly to ensure that only eligible applicants receive benefits.

The Program Integrity Unit ensures the integrity of agency programs and maintains accountability in expenditure of public funds through prevention, detection and investigation of fraud and abuse by consumers.
