There are lots of different activities created by park staff that will allow you to enjoy Lake Crabtree County Park from home! Be sure to check back often, as this page is updated with new activities.

Whether you are a child or an adult, Lake Crabtree has a program for you! All programs offered at Lake Crabtree are free unless otherwise stated. All programs have space limitations and, therefore, require registration prior to the program.

Lake Crabtree offers both virtual and in-person program opportunities. We hope to see you online or in the park soon!

Lake Crabtree offers a wide variety of environmental education programs for public and private schools, scouts, birthday parties and other organized groups. Programs are available either at the park or off-site. All programs are specific to the Piedmont region of North Carolina. Please allow at least one month advance notice to schedule a program for your group.

Camps are more extended programs offered by park staff during the summer months.

Lake Crabtree offers major events in a festival format centered around a nature, history, or recreational topic.  These large one-day events usually occur in the spring or fall.

Our events calendar shows upcoming events in the park that may impact visitors in the park.  These include our own major events, but also events hosted by outside organizations such as marathons
